Mangoes have also been included in this trend as the globe goes crazy for strange culinary combinations. The Mango Pani Puri, the newest item on this odd list, has given Indians the willies. This new product has garnered attention after the famed Aamras Dosa, but not in a positive manner.
The street seller starts by opening a carton of mango pulp and dumping it into a container, as shown in the Instagram video that @bombayfoodie_tales shared. He skilfully thins the thick pulp (Aamras) to the ideal consistency with some water before beginning to make the pani puri. He makes “mango pani puri shots” by taking a few crisp puris, stuffing them with some chickpeas, and then liberally pouring the mango pulp mixture on top.
Although the concept of an uncommon meal pairing may be appealing, it seems that most people have been unimpressed by this specific combination. Many users have expressed their displeasure on social media, with one writing, “People should be punished for besmirching perfectly wonderful foodstuffs and tainting with nonsense condiments and ingredients that make no sense!” Another person was so dissatisfied that they made the joke, “Use me as the dislike button!”

However, many Indian cuisine enthusiasts felt like passing on this strange mixture since it did not set well with them.
