R Ashwin Uses A Funny ‘Call Me Please’ Meme To Attack Laxman Sivaramakrisnan For His ‘Disrespectful’ Rant On X

Not so long ago, on social media, veteran cricketer Laxman Sivaramakrishnan unleashed an explosive tirade directed at Indian off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin. When Sivaramakrisnan attempted to congratulate Ashwin on achieving 100 Tests, the former leg-spinner turned to X (previously known as Twitter) to say that the player ignored his calls and texts.

Veteran pundit Sivaramkrisnan said that Ashwin is acting in a “respectable” manner while simultaneously subtly criticising him for being “not cultured.”

“Tried calling him a few times to wish him on his 100th Test,” the 58-year-old wrote. Just end my call now. I messaged him, but got no response. We ex-cricketers are treated with such respect.

Respect is reserved for those who possess culture. By the way, I wasn’t criticizing him when I previously tweeted about a little adjustment he made to his action. If only people had comprehension,” he said.

The veteran of 500 test wickets has, however, finally addressed the accusation—and in a humorous way at that. In response to a satirical account called “Amit Shah (Parody),” Ashwin shared a photo of Sivaramkrisnan with the message, “Call me please.” View the answer by clicking this link:

Sivaramakrisnan has previously questioned Ashwin’s ability to take wickets in SENA nations and criticized his bowling.

Because Indian pitches are manipulated to favour Ashwin in Test matches, Indian batsmen are having difficulty against spin. Examine his track record in SENA nations,” Sivaramakrisnan wrote. He went on to refer to him as a “selfish stats player.”
