The Indian team records their longest ODI victory streak as Rohit Sharma overtakes captains Dhoni and Kohli


<p>India extended their incredible run in the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup, checking off another box when they defeated New Zealand, who had been their nemesis. The Men in Blue won their tenth consecutive World Cup game as the batsmen amassed an enormous 397 runs on the board, while the bowlers held the total, although not without a struggle. <p>In what is turning out to be an incredible season for the Indian pacer, Mohammed Shami produced the highest-ever haul by an Indian bowler in ODI cricket with a 7/57. Shreyas Iyer struck his second World Cup ton, while Virat Kohli slammed his 50th ODI century.</p>
<p>India will be looking to win the championship game in order to replicate Australia’s perfect World Cup record and their 11-game winning run in the competition. India will play the victor of the South Africa vs. Australia match at the top.</p>
