<p>The former international players Harbhajan Singh, Matthew Hayden, and Michael Hussey are among those who have been selected for Shivam Dube’s all-time Chennai Super Kings XI, which is led by MS Dhoni.</p>
<p>Hayden and Hussey were chosen by Dube as his first two picks, with Suresh Raina coming in at number three. <p>His captain, Dhoni, will be joined by all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and former South Africa international Albie Morkel before Rayudu.</p>
<p>The third of Dube’s four all-rounders on his ideal squad is the great West Indian Dwayne Bravo.</p>
<p>As the designated specialist spinner, spin great Harbhajan Singh has been selected, while former India fast bowler Lakshmipathy Balaji has also been handed a position.</p>
<p>In a footage posted by CSK on their Instagram account, Dube chose to be the fourth all-rounder.</p>
<p>Matthew Hayden, Michael Hussey, Suresh Raina, Ambati Rayudu, MS Dhoni (captain and wicketkeeper), Ravindra Jadeja, Albie Morkel, Dwayne Bravo, Harbhajan Singh, Lakshmipathy Balaji, and Shivam Dube comprise Shivam Dube’s CSK XI.</p>
<p>“@dubeshivam next year as bowler khelega hum kaha jaege? (Next year you will play as a bowler so where do I fit in?)” was a pertinent question posted in the comment section by CSK fast bowler Deepak Chahar, who was unable to secure a position.</p>
<p>Chahar continued by challenging Dube to a one-on-one match to determine who would fill the position.</p>
<p>Next year, “@dubeshivm sabse pahle tere or mera match hoga 1 over ka I will bowl 1 over to you, you bowl 1 over to me, let’s see who wins and takes the spot”? Next year, we’ll play a one-over-one game; the winner gets the position. Chahar added.</p>
<p>Dube kindly left a space open in response.</p>
<p>“@deepak_chahar9 I’ve already made room for you, on this line: “tere liye maine abhise spot chod diya hai,kya tu tabki baat kar raha hai,” he wrote.</p>
<p>Chahar persisted comically on the one-over challenge, however.</p>
<p>“@dubeshivam nahi muze match chahea spot nahi (No, I want the match),” he said in the comment section.</p>
<p>Finally, Dube gave his consent.</p>
<p>He responded, “@deepak_chahar9 chal jaisa tu bole (As you say)”.</p>
<p>Dube was a key component in CSK’s record-tying sixth IPL championship triumph earlier this season. The team’s disappointing ninth-place finish in the standings previous year was made up for by a miraculous turnaround in which they defeated Gujarat Titans in a final game that was delayed by rain in Ahmedabad.</p>
