In the Women’s Hundred, Mandhana has broken the 50-run barrier five times while Rodrigues has recorded four half-centuries. Alongside Mandhana, English batter Danni Wyatt represents Southern and has amassed four scores of fifty or more.

Mandhana is off to a fantastic start this season.

She scored 55 runs against Trent Rockets in the season opener.

In the second game, Mandhana was the go-to hitter for her team. She scored 70 runs in only 44 balls, an unbroken performance.

Up to eleven boundaries were hit throughout the knock, but the Southern Brave eventually fell four runs short of the necessary 166-run total.

The Southern Brave came into their second game of the season having defeated Trent Rockets by a decisive margin of 27 runs. At the Rose Bowl in Southampton, Southern captain Anya Shrubsole requested Welsh Fire to bat first after winning the toss.

Welsh Fire scored 165 runs in 20 overs thanks to a 65-run effort from Hayley Matthews and some noteworthy performances from the other top-order batsmen. Chloe Tryon and Georgia Adams each claimed one wicket for the Southern bowling squad.

Southern Brave got off to a great start thanks to the opening duo of Mandhana and Danni Wyatt.

Before Wyatt returned to the pavilion for 67 runs, the pair had stitched together a 96-run partnership. The English opener hit 10 fours and two maximums in her 37-ball innings.

Mandhana remained at the crease till the very end, but the other hitters, who all achieved single-digit scores, weren’t much help.

Southern obtained a score of 161/4.

Welsh Fire topped the leaderboard as a result of the win. They’ve played two games and presently have three points. Rain forced the cancellation of Welsh’s inaugural match against Manchester Originals, and both sides received one point apiece. Southern Brave is currently in third place in the rankings with two points.
