After Ravindra Mahajani’s passing, Gashmeer Mahajani’s older post for her sister Rashmi became very popular

On July 15, actor Ravindra Mahajani went unexpectedly, shocking and grieving the Marathi cinema community. People are now concentrating on his family members as a result of his passing. Although Gashmeer Mahajani, Ravindra’s son, is a well-known actor in Hindi and Marathi television, not much is known about Rashmi. She avoids the spotlight and is 13 years older than Gashmeer. Rashmi chose not to enter the performing industry as her father did.

On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan three years ago, Gashmeer published a post that quickly went viral. Gashmeer discusses his connection with Rashmi in the post. Gashmeer referred to Rashmi as “Chhoti Ai” (younger mother), meaning that his sister has been a mother figure to him since they were little, while sharing images of the two of them from childhood to the present.<img decoding=”async” class=”alignnone wp-image-85928″ src=”https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/www.theindiaprint.com-images-2023-07-20t170108.868.jpg” alt=”” width=”1139″ height=”638″ srcset=”https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/www.theindiaprint.com-images-2023-07-20t170108.868.jpg 300w, https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/www.theindiaprint.com-images-2023-07-20t170108.868-150×84.jpg 150w” sizes=”(max-width: 1139px) 100vw, 1139px” />

In his article, Gashmeer claims that Rashmi has taken care of him in every way, from getting him ready to dropping him off at school on her scooter, from kindergarten through fifth grade. “I didn’t have to get into the movie business to be a hero. I had always been her shining light. I have a fan who will always support me, whether or not my films are successful,” he said in the message, adding that her love and commitment did not alter no matter what. He said that regardless of the success or failure of his films, he would always have a supporter.

A post honoring the three ladies in Gashmeer’s life—his mother, sister, and wife—was also posted on ladies’s Day the previous year. This article is now doing the rounds as well.
